Golden Mac & Cheese  
Ingredients
  • 1 (8-ounce) package of elbow mac
  • 2 cups of millk
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp onion salt
  • 2 (10-ounce) blocks Cracker Barrel Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs (4 slices crust removed)
  • ¼ cup butter melted
 
Directions

          Cook macaroni and drain well.  Place milk, flour, onion salt in a quart jar.  Cover tightly & shake well for 1 minute.  Stir together flour mixture, 3 ½ cups cheese & macaroni.  Pour macaroni into a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish.  Sprinkle evenly with breadcrumbs and remaining cheese; drizzle evenly with melted butter.  Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
